The Duke and Duchess of Sussex joined the Queen, Prince Charles, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and other members of the royal family at Commonwealth Day at Westminster Abbey. The event was the first time in many months that the family was seen together.

During a protocol change this year, Meghan, Harry, Kate, and William were not part of “The Procession of the Queen”, where high-ranking family members follow the monarch down the abbey corridor to their seats. Instead, the foursome sat before their arrival this year.

In the last few days since returning to the UK, Meghan has supported no fewer than 10 British designers on their various excursions – and today was no different. On this occasion, the Duchess opted for a striking green midi dress by Emilia Wickstead (who was born in New Zealand but lives in London).
The piece showed a beautiful drapery detail that started at the neck and continued to her left shoulder and then ran over her arm. She was equipped with a Gabriela Hearst bag, her bare Aquazzura pumps, and a William Chambers hat. In a touching sign of togetherness, the color of Meghan’s dress was mimicked by the lining on Harry’s jacket, which could be seen when the wind hit her on arrival.
The Duchess also returned to her classic make-up look of a soft, smoky eye back, base and nerve lip for the event, of course, and her hair was wiped back into a tight bun to accompany her detailed headgear.
Kate Middleton was also a picture of elegance in a red coat dress by Catherine Walker, The Look was combined with accessories in a complementary color.

It is undoubtedly an emotional day for the Sussex people who are preparing to say goodbye to their royal life on March 31st. The two are reportedly planning to set up a charity to help former homelessness and medical care workers.
