Perfect for the 700 months we have left of winter.
For those of you who are very interested in Meghan Markle’s closet, we have good news for your Friday. Today the Duchess was spotted on her way to Victoria International Airport with one of her old coats from the Canadian outerwear brand Soia & Kyo.
Markle was first seen in the jacket in 2017 when she was on the set for suits in Toronto, and since then she’s clearly remained a favorite in her wardrobe. The best part is that the jacket is still available in the brand’s winter range. The Saundra coat ($ 695) is available in Army (which Meghan wears), black, indigo, and sandstone. It is cut in an A-line and features a hood with sherpa trimmings, removable fur lining, fleece-lined pockets, and leather trimmings. It is 90 percent down and 10 percent feather and (not surprisingly) perfect for our long winters here in the north.
It is not the first time that the Duchess has been wearing the Quebec Label over the years.
Today the Duchess was found driving herself to the airport (accompanied by a member of her security team) to pick up her friend Heather Dorak. Dorak is the founder of Pilates Platinum, which Meghan attended in LA, and attended the royal wedding in 2018.
It is the second time that Meghan has been seen in public since she and Prince Harry announced their plans to share their time between the UK and Canada. Earlier this week, she was seen in a seaplane heading for Vancouver, where she visited the Downtown Eastside Women’s Center and Justice for Girls to learn more about the team’s work in the community.
An announcement regarding details of the couple’s new life is expected to be released sometime today. Watch this room.
