French actress Marion Cotillard is the new face of Chanel’s legendary No. 5 fragrance. Throughout her career, the celebrated performer has received an Oscar, a César and a Golden Globe, and the best actress won the BAFTA Awards 2008 for her work as Édith Piaf in La Vie En Rose. After dressing Chanel on red carpets in the past and having been friends with the brand for a long time, she naturally fits the label. The brand says Cotillard is the perfect incarnation of French natural beauty and explains: “It brings its elegance to the image of the legendary N ° 5 fragrance.” The campaign will be launched later this year.

Valmont opens in Canada its first retail boutique

Although the label has been available at Saks Sherway Gardens since the store opened in 2016, La Maison Valmont now has its own space where art and design are highly valued.

In addition to hardwood walls, a chic seating area and works of art by the Spanish artist El Bocho, the shop-in-shop offers a comprehensive selection of products using Valmont’s skincare and fragrance pillars. The mix includes the renowned Swiss Cellular Cosmetics as well as anti-aging products and treatments. In addition, in line with the opening of the boutique, the house’s new fragrance collections will be launched and displayed on a special wall.
